The Chase

The notes that I found in the apartment of my late father inspired this piece. My father had been making lists of car license plates. With his digital camera he documented other people’s cars, often in haste. He had always been convinced by the idea that women were stalking him. The three-channel video piece reenacts this fantasy with the help of Runa Pernoda Schäfer, Katharina Schmidt and Anna Keil. They all play the same character: a stalker, who watches my father’s  worsening state shortly before his untimely death.
